Preparing the next generation of healthcare providers
SE PA AHEC offers a virtual health career expoloration program as a part of the PA AHEC SEARCH Academy. It is designed to help students identify a career path and begin their journey.

Students get the chance to interact with professionals working in a variety of settings across the state and learn about different career paths.Students will be able to build their resumes and gain skills that will help them in college and beyond.
SAT/ACT test prep discount
Through a partnership with PA AHEC and The Princeton Review, high school students in Pennsylvania can apply for access to a self-paced test prep course from The Princeton Review for only $60* (original price $299).
*Scholarships based on financial need are available.
Local Partnership
SE PA AHEC partners with Universal Audenried Charter High School to provide support for their Health Resource Technology students. SE PA AHEC coordinates job shadows and other experiential learning opportunities for students, and recruits health professionals in the field to help students get a feel for what their chosen career path looks like day-to-day. We also enlist health professionals to serve as Subject Matter Experts who evaluate students’ performance on the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) assessment.
