The AHEC mission is to enhance access to quality health care, particularly primary and preventive care, by improving the supply and distribution of healthcare professionals via strategic partnerships with academic programs, communities, and professional organizations.
SE PA AHEC is a non-profit organization that depends solely on external funding. Your support means we can offer more professional development for primary care professionals and education for healthcare students.
Thanks to our supporters, in 2019 SE PA AHEC has:

Trained 467 healthcare professionals and students to use best practices for recommending the HPV vaccine in 3 states.

Recruited 16 AHEC Scholars from the Southeast region.

Trained SE PA AHEC staff to provide Community Health Worker training and the Community Action Poverty Simulation.

Placed 174 of M2 students from Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine with 37 of preceptors .
